Cricket is Back at BHCC

09 Jul 2020

Cricket is back!  Following the governments green light for cricket matches to resume from 11 July, the ECB have provided guidelines just how we can make this happen.

As to be expected, there are plenty of rules we need to follow so it is vital that everyone who plans to come to the club to play, officiate, coach or simply watch should take a bit of time to read through the guidelines.  This will help ensure everyone can stay safe whilst we enjoy cricket once again.

PLAN FOR SOCIALLY DISTANCED CRICKET MATCHES

COVID-19 PLAN FOR JUNIOR & OPEN-AGE CRICKET
(APPLICABLE TO PLAYERS, VOLUNTEERS, SPECTATORS, PARENTS, CLUBS, COACHES & OFFICIALS)

Players and Parents please take note and follow the information from team captain's and age group managers.

The BHCC Clubhouse will remain closed with the exception of toilet facilities.
EVERYONE who enters the club grounds must register their name and contact details to enable effective track and trace in the event of a possible COVID-19 case arising.
We will try and have the bar open but this cannot be guaranteed.  We will open the bar if we are able to safely operate under the current guidelines.  If open, there will be a limited selection of drinks.
There will be hand sanitizer available however it is recommended you also bring your own and use regularly when on club grounds.

Of course it goes without saying... if you or anyone in your household has symptoms or has COVID-19 please stay at home and isolate until better.

It's good to be back playing cricket again.
