Charles Bury profile

  • I joined Boyne Hill as a youngster of 11 playing second & mainly 3rd XL cricket throughout my time here, moved away and returned 2009.

    Since 2010 I have run the sunday first XL and enjoyed myself with the great talent within the club watching these lads progress in all the teams, For the last two season's we won promotion &  our goal is the same this year but will be a tall order but we will go for it, the side skippered by our club captain Tom Mellor.

    I have had the pleasure of playing for Berkshire as a tourist in the West Indies (Grenada, St Lucia & Barbados) on three tours, Spitfire tour of La Manga playing in a combined team of Hampshire & Berkshire

    In Novemner I took part in a festival in Australia playing in both Sydney & Melbourne play against all the over 60's state sides top scoring with 25 not out against Western Australia,  playing County cricket in the  over 50s & 60s county championship

    Since returning to Boyne Hill I have been given great  support from so many people all wishing the team well, as a club we have so much to offer to so many.
